Cedar Hill Park
Since the redevelopment, the park now features a multi-purpose synthetic athletic field with lights and a concessions building, as well as a multi-use sport court, bocce ball courts, volleyball court, play area, interactive splashpad, picnic areas and shelter, community garden, and a permanent ADA accessible restroom. Free
The adjacent play area at William Walker Elementary School is available to community members during evenings and weekends.
Tucked into a large development of apartment homes in Cedar Mill, this one-acre park provides residents and neighbors a central gathering place.
Timberland Park is accessible from NW 118th Ave. (via NW Barnes Rd. or NW Cornell Rd.) and is located just south of Beaverton School District’s new middle school, and just up the road from the Timberland Town Center.
At the top of the park sits its most distinctive attraction, a water feature that will keep guests cool during summer weather. Ample bench seating and a drinking fountain are nearby. Free
This pocket park water feature is located on NW Cornell and Joy St at the entrance to the Cedar Grove Apartments. Free
Conestoga Recreation & Aquatic Center
For those just looking to play in the spray, Conestoga Recreation & Aquatic Center (9985 SW 125th Avenue, right next to Southridge High School) offers an outdoor splash pad operating during open facility hours. Drop-in fees apply.
The 4,500-square-foot facility, open daily during facility hours, is designed for children of all ages. A toddler bay includes several low-spraying features. For older children, the site includes dumping buckets and sprays that can be aimed at each other for added fun.
