  Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District presents a fun family-friendly Halloween event.

  Little ones safely trick-or-treat throughout the Conestoga Recreation & Aquatic Center parking lot, enjoy a DJ dance party, and character meet-and-greets.

  Costumes are encouraged.

  Ven y disfruta de el Festival de Día de Muertos para recordar a nuestros seres queridos que ya partieron al Mictlan. Se iniciará con Danza Azteca, habra altares comunitarios,rifas,música, antojitos mexicanos y mucho más! Evento para toda la familia, todos bienvenidos.

  Come and enjoy the Day of the Dead Festival to remember our loved ones who have passed on to Mictlan. It will begin with Aztec Dance, there will be community altars, raffles, music, Mexican treats and much more! Family friendly event, everyone welcome.

• Sat Nov 11 at 9:00 AM - Veterans Breakfast and Benefits Fair

  The Veteran's Breakfast and Benefits Fair will be held on Saturday, Nov. 11th from 9am-11am. We will serve a pancake breakfast (veterans and their families eat for free, the general public cost is $5 each or $25 per family), and new this year is a benefits fair with a variety of booths with different local resources for veterans or their families to utilize.

• Sat Dec 09 at 10:00 AM - Sensory Santa

  There are many children who want to meet Santa but have sensory over load when it comes to the hustle and bustle of the Holiday Season. This inclusive event provides families an opportunity to meet Santa in a lower stress environment, no lines, no crowds. Your family will be given exclusive access to Santa for up to 10 minutes. Pre-registration is required and will take place starting in November 13th. There are limited spots, please contact the center to let us know what accommodation we can do to make this Santa visit a special experience for your child.

  Hay muchos niños que quieren conocer a Santa, pero tienen sobrecarga sensorial cuando se trata del ajetreo y la bulla de la temporada navideña. Este evento inclusivo brinda a las familias la oportunidad de conocer a Santa en un ambiente de menor estrés, sin filas ni multitudes. Su familia tendrá acceso exclusivo a Santa por hasta 10 minutos. Se requiere inscripción previa y se llevará a cabo a partir de el 13 de noviembre. Hay cupos limitados, contacte al centro si necesita arreglos especiales para que esta visita de Santa sea una experiencia única para su pequeño/a.

Volunteer Opportunities

• Sat Oct 14 at 3:15 PM - Halloween Silly Walk at Conestoga Rec & Aquatic Center / Caminata Graciosa de Halloween en Conestoga Rec & Aquatic Center

  Volunteer at this fun, family-oriented event! Provide assistance setting up for the event, greeting event attendees, refreshing supplies and cleaning up after the event. Volunteers are encouraged to wear silly costumes too. Please bring your a reusable water bottle to drink from throughout your shift.

  ¡Sea voluntario en este divertido evento para la familia! Brinde asistencia para preparar el evento, recibir a los asistentes del evento, con los suministros de refresco y a limpiar después del evento. Se anima a los voluntarios a usar disfraces divertidos también. Traiga una botella de agua reutilizable para beber durante su jornada.

Volunteers are encouraged to wear Day of the Dead-themed costumes, but nothing gory or provocative. Please bring a reusable water bottle to drink from throughout your shift.

  Sea voluntario en este divertido evento de vacaciones orientado a la familia. Ayude a preparar el evento, a recibir a los asistentes del evento, a recargar los suministros y a limpiar después del evento. Se anima a los voluntarios a usar disfraces con la temática del Día de los Muertos, pero nada sangriento o provocativo. Se fomenta el uso de las mascarillas, pero no es obligatorio. Traiga una botella de agua reutilizable para beber durante su turno.
