Cedar Hill’s Free Family Fishing Day Event
Join us on March 14 for our free family fishing event! This is an open fishing opportunity where participants will receive guidance from community mentors in the art of fishing.
FISHING GEAR PROVIDED WITH REGISTRATION!

Registration is required ONLY for participants who need to borrow fishing equipment. Each family member who needs equipment should be registered individually. Participants are also welcome to attend using their own gear without registering. Youth 17 and younger may fish for free. Nature Mobile: (Hands-On Science Experience)
- View water samples under microscopes
- Learn how water quality is tested
- Explore aquatic life and biodiversity
- Discover the role of healthy waterways
- Enjoy hands-on, family-friendly activities
- Participants are also welcome to attend using their own gear without registering. If you plan to keep any fish please bring a gallon bag, chest or bucket to transport fish home in.
