Join your school's track & field team! Young athletes will have the opportunity to train in various events, including sprints, distance running, jumps, throws, and more, all while building teamwork and making new friends. Practices are held twice a week at your school’s campus, with opportunities to compete against other Beaverton School District (BSD) middle schools. Our program is held rain or shine, so dress appropriately for the weather!
Regular practices are held at each school campus on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 to 5:45 PM (except for ISB, which is from 3:25 to 4:40 pm). The 2026 season runs from March 3rd to May 12th. Each team will be scheduled for an offsite practice and off-site meets (meet schedule TBD). The two regular meets will conclude at 7:30 PM, while the district meet will end at 8:00 PM (times subject to change).
There will be no practices during spring break, on no-school days, or during student-teacher conferences. There is an $8 fee for the team shirt.
THPRD will provide bus transportation from the middle schools to all scheduled meet locations (at local high schools). Adults are responsible for arranging transportation home from practices and meets, as no transportation home will be provided.
Events offered: 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 4x100m relay, 4x400m relay, javelin (Finnflier), discus, shot put, high jump, and long jump.

Step into the world of youth sports with our Elementary Track Club! Open to students in grades 3–5, this program introduces running, throwing, and jumping in a fun supportive environment where kids can build confidence and friendships along the way.
