Girls' Cross Country Race

Fall Cross Country

Join your middle school cross country team, get involved in your school and meet new friends. Train two days a week at your school, then represent your school is a district meet with other BSD middle schools. Program is held outside, so dress for the weather. We go rain or shine!

Students in grades 6-8 who attend middle school in the Beaverton School District are eligible to participate in after school recreation through Cedar Hills Recreation Center. Practices are Tuesday and Thursday 4:20 to 5:40pm (except ISB 2:45- 4:15pm) and run September 5 through October 19. There will be three meets plus a final district meet. Transportation is provided for the first three meets from the middle school to the meet location. All students will need to be picked up from the meet location, THPRD will not provide transportation home or back to the middle school. Warm up will begin about 20 minutes before the start of the meet.

BSD middle school home school students or magnet school students or if you live within THPRD boundaries and attend private school.

Spring Track & Field

Join a Track & Field team and train two days a week at your school’s campus. The season runs 2/29/24 through 5/09/24 Tuesdays and Thursdays. Each school will be scheduled for offsite track and field meets (Meet schedule TBD on a Tuesday or Thursday in March, April or May). THPRD will provide bus transportation from the middle schools to all scheduled meet locations (at local high schools). Adults are responsible for arranging transportation home from practices and meets. (No transportation home provided)

Regular practices at each school campus are 4:15-5:30pm (ISB 2:30-3:45pm). Cost includes T-shirt. Program held outside, so dress for the weather. We go rain or shine.

2024 Middle School Track & Field (Preseason)

Join us for an exciting Middle School Track & Field Clinic, where young athletes will experience a preseason like no other. Whether you're interested in sprints, shot put, or other track and field events, our clinic will cover a wide range of disciplines to suit your interests. Held both indoors and outdoors.

Events offered: 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 4x100m relay, 4x400m relay, javelin (Finnflier), discus, shotput, high jump and long jump.
