Jump Start & Kids First Preschool at Cedar Hills Recreation Center

Jump Start & Kids First are preschool programs based around the Reggio Emilia philosophy which uses creative play and social learning to prepare children for kindergarten. Your child will be placed in a group of children for the nine-month preschool program from September through May. The preschool programs will run at the Cedar Hills Recreation Center located at 11640 SW Park Way in Portland, Oregon.

-Tuition is paid on a monthly basis and is due by the 15th of the month prior (example: November tuition is due by October 15th). If payment is received after the 15th, a late fee of $30 will be charged.

-All children MUST be able to use the restroom independently before entering preschool. Pull-ups are not allowed.

-Children must be the correct age by September 1st.

2024 Virtual Preschool Open House (Held February 7)

Watch the recorded virtual preschool open house for our upcoming nine-month preschool programs for the 2024-2025 school year. During the event, we provided an overview of the preschool programs and gave attendees an opportunity to ask any questions they may have had about the upcoming academic year.

Open registration for the 2024-25 preschool year will begin February 15, at 9am. Registration can be completed online, in-person or via phone. Class numbers can be found below.

Current students can register now in-person or by phone at Cedar Hills Recreation Center for Jump Start classes. (Online registration available February 15, 9am)

There is a $50 non-refundable registration fee due at the time of registration. See below for 2024-2025 offerings and class enrollment codes. If you have questions regarding specific programs, please reach out to the appropriate program coordinator.

Limited space is still available in the current preschool school year. There is a $50 non-refundable enrollment fee due at time of registration.
