As of July 1, 2024, we have transitioned to a new court reservation system. Court Reserve is a reservation system designed specifically for racquet sports. It is mobile-responsive and user-friendly. With Court Reserve, patrons are able to manage their bookings online or via a mobile-friendly app, including customizing reservation duration, adding a ball machine, or cancel their courts. Additionally, this system will allow patron to see upcoming court unavailablity (i.e. court in use for classes, events, etc.) a month in advance.
How to do I reserve a court?
Patrons will need to create a free Court Reserve account at https://app.courtreserve.com/Portal/THPRD before reserving courts. To recieve the discounted rates, patrons must also have a valid, up-to-date In-District THPRD account (expired account or needing verification will be marked as Out-of-District until renewed). If you do not have a THPRD account, use "n/a" when asked for your account number. Please note: The Court Reserve system is not directily linked to our THPRD system. Each pratron will need to create a new account with Court Reserve (or add THPRD to your list of organizations, if you already have a Court Reserve account from another facility) and be verified by the Tennis Center staff before approved. Unlike the THPRD system, all Court Reserve accounts will be Single Users (i.e. each family member wishing to book courts will need to create their own Court Reserve account).
Courts release at 7:30am one week prior for In-District patrons (or 6 days for Out-of-District patrons), with payment due at the time of booking. There is a 2 court per day, per user, limit for reservations made in advance . Additonally, reservations during Prime Time (5:30-8pm Weekdays and 8am-1pm Weekends) have a sandwich rule preventing reservations from creating gaps of 45 minutes or less. (however, reservations made day of do not have these restriction)
Cancellations must be made at least 48 prior to the indoor court reservation or 4 hours prior for outdoor court reservations. Failure to give sufficient notice may result in court credit or no refund being given. Cancellations can be made by patron thru Court Reserve or by calling the Tennis Center at 503-629-6331.
Which locations can we reserve courts at?
All 15 courts at the Tennis Center will be available for reservations when not in use for programming, events, and/or rentals. We are open from 9am to 10pm Monday to Thursday, 9am to 9pm on Fridays, and 8am to 7pm on Saturdays and Sunday.

Tennis Center Etiquette
Please CHECK IN at the front desk, as your assigned court may have changed.
Court play must match the court reservation type. (i.e. pickleball may only be played during a pickleball court reservation, tennis on a tennis court reservation)
Do not walk onto the court or sidelines BEFORE your appointed time. Stay behind the curtain and speak softly while other patrons are playing.
Food, gum, or beverages other than water are not permitted on the courts.
Shirts and shoes are required in the Tennis Center and proper tennis attire is required on court.
For player safety, only tennis shoes or supportive non-marking athletic shoes may be worn on the court – NO boots, sandals, open-toed shoes, crocs-style or other street shoes.
NO Private Coaching. Only approved staff may provide tennis lessons at this facility.
Ball Machines are available for rental at the front desk for use on courts 1-6. Personal ball machines are not allowed.
Players should talk softly so as to not distract players on adjacent courts. Rude or abusive language will result in termination of play.
Please use the Tennis Center facilities respectfully. Do not hit balls or practice on the indoor walls. Hitting curtains, nets or court surfaces with racquets will result in termination of play.
Please turn off cell phones while on court.
When your reservation period has expired, players must leave the court. If players desire to play over the allotted time period, you must first check in with the Tennis desk staff for availability before the continuing to play.
For your safety, no spectators (adults or children) are permitted on court. Please use the center lounge or the upstairs gallery for viewing.
Unattended children under the age of 10 are not permitted in the lounge area or upstairs and must remain with their parents/guardians.
Pets are not allowed in the Tennis Center or on the courts.
Showers are available at the tennis center during building hours.
