Join us at the Historic Jenkins Estate for an free and informative Portland Opera Preview, designed to give you a deeper understanding and a taste of the Portland Opera's upcoming mainstage production.

Held in the setting of this stunning historic property, this event takes the form of a one-hour lecture concert. A Portland Opera speaker will introduce the opera, providing essential background on its history, the cultural period it exists within, its composer, and any literary works that inspired it.

The second half of the preview is dedicated to the music! The host will set up key selections, and then Portland Opera singers will perform pieces from the show. It's the perfect opportunity to enrich your experience before the curtain rises!
