Located in the Highland neighborhood of Beaverton, near Fir Grove Elementary, five-acre Fir Grove Park includes paved trails and picnic tables. There is a forested natural area on the west side of the park.
Located at the intersection of SW 22nd Street and SW 130th Avenue -- just west of SW Hall Blvd. -- Fir Grove Park is a charming little park perfect for a quick stop to picnic.
Play equipment update: The play structure at Fir Grove Park was one of many THPRD assets damaged during the January storm of 2024. After careful consideration, the district has decided not to immediately replace it due to several factors: the structure's age (30 years), lack of insurance coverage, and the high cost (over $400,000) to meet current standards. Additionally, there are still two safe, functional play components on-site.
Nearby, four parks (Channing Heights, Valley West, Valley Park, and La Raiz) and Fir Grove Elementary School offer similar amenities. La Raiz Park, our newest addition, features brand-new facilities.
Looking ahead, Fir Grove Park will be part of a district-wide amenities study to guide future replacement priorities. This will help inform the park districts annual capital replacement program.
