Lunar New Year Event

Join the Vietnamese American Veterans & Families and Garden Home Recreation Center on Saturday, February 8 for a family-friend Lunar New Year Celebration. The event will feature multiple Lion and Dragon Dances, cultural dances, martial arts, Taiko Portland drummers, live music, lucky red envelopes, Ballroom Dancing from 7-9pm, and more!

4:50-4:55pm "Descendants of Dragons & Fairies" dance by Lac Hong School "Tiny dancers"
5:00-5:15pm White Lotus Lion Dance Oregon
5:20-5:25pm "Going to the Temple" dance by Lac Hong school "Tiny dancers"
5:30-5:35pm Music Break for audience
5:40-5:55pm Indian Cultural Dances by Rythms Dance Academy
6:00-6:10pm Vietnamese Martial Arts: Vovinam showcase
6:20-6:35pm Red envelope & Snake Balloons distribution to children, while supplies last
6:35-6:40pm Cha Cha Ballroom Dance Showcase
6:45-6:50pm Korean Popular genre K-POP Dance
6:55-7:00pm Jive/Swing Ballroom Dance Showcase
7:15-9pm Dancing for all
