Virtual Community Meeting for New Park at SW Baker and Lombard
April 20, 2021
THPRD is holding a Virtual Community Meeting for the upcoming park at SW Baker and Lombard. This meeting is an opportunity for community members to learn more about the new park and provide your input through an online survey.
This new park will be located within Beaverton's Vose neighborhood. The project will develop 2 acres of park along the SW Lombard Ave corridor with with access to city bicycle lanes and sidewalks. The site was a previous residence for over 80-years and features beautiful mature trees. THPRD plans to balance the community’s needs for park amenities with the preservation of the mature trees.
This new neighborhood park will mainly serve local community members. Community engagement is a vital part of our planning and design process. THPRD will continue working with community members to keep them informed about the project's development.
