Nature Mobile

The Nature Mobile is a mobile classroom that allows THPRD's Nature & Trails' staff to bring environmental education programs to schools, parks, libraries and neighborhoods throughout the park district.

Staff provide fun, nature and science learning opportunities and hands-on activities to capture the imagination of young people and help them understand the role of nature in their lives.

Programs are weather dependent! Check out the schedule below for the latest events and any possible schedule changes.

Please join use for nature programs and/or nature kit distribution at sites throughout the district this winter. Masks are strongly encouraged, physical distancing will be required and increased sanitation and safety protocols will be followed.

Each week we will have a new nature theme and kit, so you can visit each week for new content!
